Use your practice management software to submit claims, predeterminations and supporting documentation (file attachments) electronically to Canada Life.
Canada Life supports the following CDAnet transactions:

To use these transactions, make sure Canada Life (carrier ID 000011) is set up in your practice management software as CDAnet Version 4, TELUS Group B.
If you’re unable to submit electronically, please submit a paper claim using this dental claim form.

- Sign in to Secure Services.
- Make sure you’re under the correct provider account. To confirm, look at the Current Provider name and address in the top right-hand corner of the providerConnect screen. If you need to change the account, select Change Provider/Location and make the correct selection.
- Select Claims Information from the menu.
- Select the Claim Type you want to search on: Claims or Dental Predetermination.
- Choose Canada Life (Dental Benefits) from the carrier drop down list.
- Enter the patient’s Canada Life plan/policy number.
- Enter the patient’s Canada Life ID/certificate number.
- Choose the search period.
- Select the Display Claims Information button to retrieve your patient’s historical information.

- Sign in to Secure Services.

- Select View Statements and Payments from the menu.
- Choose Canada Life (Dental Benefits) from the carrier drop down list.
- In the Canada Life Statement Email Address field, enter the email address where our Canada Life statements are currently sent to you by secure email. This is the email address that you used in the registration process when you signed up for Direct Deposit with TELUS Health.
- Note: if another email address is pre-populated, overtype it.
- Once the email address is entered, select Validate Email. Within a few minutes, a confirmation code will be sent to that email address.
- Enter the confirmation code in the Confirmation Code field and select Submit.
- Click the Display Statements button to retrieve your Canada Life statements.
If you need to confirm the email address used for your Canada Life statements, sign in to your TELUS Health account.
